FREEDOM SUMMER MEMORIAL: This outside exhibit commemorates the courage and commitment of all Freedom Summer volunteers, including the three students who were murdered for their activism.
Location: Adjacent to Kumler Chapel, Western Drive, Oxford, OH
FINDING FREEDOM SUMMER: A RETROSPECTIVE will immortalize the historic events of 1964 through images and materials from the Mississippi Freedom Summer Collection, which is part of the Western College Memorial Archives. Exhibit pieces will be displayed on Miami University’s Oxford campus.

COMPOSITION IN BLACK AND WHITE juxtaposes objects that share a similar color palette of black, white, or black and white. The exhibition offers an opportunity to investigate the symbolic, metaphoric and practical use of color and dynamic composition to convey meaning. Featured artists include Pueblo potters, Kathe Kollwitz, Chris Burden, Kara Walker, and Philip Mossberger.
